Changes to Paypal Agreement

You agree that, except to the extent inconsistent or provided by federal law, and except as otherwise provided in this User Agreement, the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to the conflict of laws principles of this User Agreement, and any claim or dispute arising or likely to arise between you and PayPal; regulate. We make changes to certain agreements (listed below) that govern your relationship with PayPal. These changes will be made automatically on the effective date indicated below. We may add, modify, suspend or eliminate all or any of the features and services related to Venmo debit cards at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law. We may terminate your access to all or part of the Venmo Services, including the Venmo Debit Card, if you breach the Venmo Mastercard Cardholder Agreement or any agreement between you and us. If your Venmo account is closed for any reason, any Venmo debit card associated with your account will be cancelled. This page informs users in advance of important changes to the PayPal service, its terms of use or other policies. This page displays policy updates with future effective dates. If you process personal data from Europe under this contract, you must comply with the European Directive 95/46/EC or the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

The Venmo app works with an app associated with a specific device and operating system, e.B.dem Apple`s iOS operating system. Your use of the Venmo Services may be subject to separate agreements you have with your mobile operating system provider (e.B Apple, Google or Microsoft®), your mobile device manufacturer (e.B Apple, Samsung®), your mobile operator (e.B. AT&T® or Verizon®) and other parties involved in providing your mobile device service, which we collectively refer to as “Covered Third Parties”. You agree to comply with all applicable third party terms and conditions when using the Venmo Services. We are not a party to these agreements and assume no responsibility for products and services provided by third parties. You acknowledge and agree that this Agreement exists between you and PayPal and not with any covered third party. You acknowledge and agree that we are solely responsible for the Venmo Services and for providing maintenance and support services for the Venmo Services. We are updating certain agreements PayPal that apply to U.S. customers. These changes will occur on the 3rd.

September 2019. If you accept these changes, you don`t have to do anything. If you do not agree with these changes, you may close your account before September 3, 2019, and these changes will not apply to you. Once your automatic payment is cancelled, all future automatic payments under your agreement with that seller will be stopped. If you cancel an automatic payment, you may still owe money to the seller for the purchase or have additional obligations to the seller for goods or services you received but did not pay. These Terms of Use are a contract between you and PayPal, Inc. that governs your use of your PayPal Account and PayPal Services. It only applies to U.S.

PayPal accounts. If you are an individual, you must reside in the United States or any of its territories and be at least 18 years of age or the legal age in your state of residence to open an account PayPal in the United States and use the PayPal Services. If you are a business, the company must be organized, operating, or residing in the United States or any of its territories in order to open an account PayPal in the United States and use the services PayPal. Otherwise, no further action will be required. If you prefer to refuse such changes, you must close your account PayPal before the applicable effective date. To the extent that you (as a seller) process personal data about a customer PayPal in accordance with this Agreement, you agree to comply with the requirements of applicable data protection laws.

You have your own independently established privacy policies, notices and procedures for such personal data that you hold as a data controller, including a record of your activities in connection with the processing of personal data under this Agreement. You can link or unlink certain payment methods such as a credit card, debit card, U.S. bank account, or PayPal credit to your PayPal account. You can also link a Cash account to your personal PayPal account as a payment method and unlink the Cash account by withdrawing and closing all funds. Please keep your payment method information up to date (e.B. Credit card number and expiration date). If this information changes, we may update it using third-party information and sources available to us without you having to do anything. If you do not want us to update your card information, you can remove your payment method from your PayPal account.

When we update your payment method, we retain all preference settings associated with that payment method. You can confirm your card so that we can verify that the card is valid and that you are the cardholder. To do this, we will charge $1.95 per card. Once the card is confirmed, we will immediately refund this amount to the card. If you provide us with your mobile phone number, you agree that PayPal and its affiliates may contact you at that number using automatically dialed or pre-recorded calls or text messages to: (i) serve your branded accounts PayPal, (ii) investigate or prevent fraud, or (iii) collect a claim. We will not use automatically composed or pre-recorded call messages or TEXT messages to contact you for marketing purposes unless we obtain your prior express written consent. We may share your mobile phone number with service providers with whom we contract to assist us in the activities listed above, but we will not share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own purposes without your consent. You do not have to agree to automatically receive call messages or TEXT messages on your mobile phone number in order to use and use the products and services offered by PayPal. You can opt out of receiving automatically dialed or pre-recorded call or SMS messages to your mobile phone number in a variety of ways, including in your account settings PayPal to www.paypal.com by contacting customer service or by calling us at 1-844-629-9108. Standard telephone minute and SMS charges may apply. If you used Pay with Rewards to fund your transaction, your refund will be voided in the form of a dollar amount: Depending on your card agreement with your issuer, your issuer may or may not credit your purchase to your reward credit. For your convenience, we will provide you with an unsubscribe notice form that you will need to complete and email to unsubscribe from this Agreement.

You must complete this form by providing all the information requested, including your name, address, telephone number and email address(es) used to log in to the PayPal account(s) to which the opt-out applies. You must sign the unsubscribe notice for it to be effective. This procedure is the only way to withdraw from the arbitration agreement. If you unsubscribe from this Agreement to Arbitrate, all other parts of the User Agreement will continue to apply. Unsubscribing from this arbitration agreement will not affect any past, other or future arbitration agreements you may have with us. breach these Terms of Use, the Acceptable Use Policy or any other agreement between you and us; As a guarantee for the performance of your obligations under these Terms of Use, you grant PayPal a lien and security on the funds held in your PayPal account. .
